Care plans

A website is never actually finished.

Software updates, backups, a form that silently stops sending, the phone number that changed. Somebody has to keep an eye on it. For a flat monthly price, that somebody is me.

Three plans

Pick by how much the site matters to the business.

Care
$79 / month
or $790 a year, two months free

The site is done. Keep it safe, fast and online.

  • 30 minutes of changes a month
  • Hosting, monitoring, updates, backups
  • Contact form tested monthly
  • Reply within three business days
Care PlusMost sites
$149 / month
or $1,490 a year, two months free

Keep it running, with regular small updates.

  • One hour of changes a month
  • Hosting, monitoring, updates, backups
  • Contact form tested weekly
  • Quarterly check-in email: visits, enquiries, anything worth fixing
  • Reply within two business days
Growth
$250 / month
or $2,500 a year, two months free

The site is part of how you win work.

  • Two hours of changes a month
  • Hosting, monitoring, updates, backups
  • Contact form tested weekly
  • One-page monthly report: visits, enquiries, what I did
  • Google Business Profile kept current
  • Email-security (DMARC) report checks
  • Reply within two business days

All prices in Canadian dollars. There’s a bigger plan, Partner, for sites and tools that are still growing and need five hours a month and a quarterly call. I’ll suggest it if your project clearly needs it.

Site down or form brokenSame daySame daySame day

Every month I test your contact form myself. Not a script, me, filling it in and checking it arrives. It’s the single most common thing I find broken on small-business sites, and nobody notices until the phone’s been quiet for a while.

What actually happens

One evening a month, every month.

Uptime monitoring runs around the clock and pages me if the site goes down. Beyond that, once a month I sit down with every site I look after: update the software and ship it through a preview first, export a backup of your content, submit your form and confirm it lands, and log the time. If you’re on Growth, you get a one-page report of what happened and what I did. If you’re on Care Plus, you get a check-in email every quarter.

Changes are the same whichever plan you’re on. Email me the new photo, the price change, the staff member who’s joined, and it’s done within the reply time. Anything bigger, I quote first.

The terms

Written the way I’d say them to you.

01

Twelve months to start, then month to month.

After the first year, cancel any time with 30 days' notice.

02

Hours reset each month.

Unused time doesn't roll over. That's what keeps the price low.

03

Your price is locked for the first twelve months.

After that, I'll give 60 days' notice of any change.

04

You own everything.

Your domain stays in your name. If you leave, I move the site, content editor and code into accounts in your name at no charge, within your notice period.

05

What's in the price.

Hosting on my Vercel account, monitoring, and the content editor on its free tier. If you'd rather hold your own hosting account, same plans, same price. You just get the hosting bill directly.

06

What isn't.

Domain renewals (billed by your registrar), email (Google Workspace or similar), paid plugins or services you choose, and a paid content-editor plan if your team outgrows the free one. I'll flag any of these before they cost you anything.

07

Paid automatically each month.

Card or bank debit through Stripe. If a payment fails and isn't sorted within 14 days, updates and changes pause until it is. The site stays up.

08

Big changes aren't "changes".

A new page type, a new feature, or a redesign gets its own fixed-price quote before I start. Small edits, fixes and swapping content are what the included time is for. If a month needs more than that, I'll quote the extra first. No surprise bills.

09

I'm one person.

Replies happen on business days. If I'm away for more than a few days, you'll know in advance, and outages still get handled.

Didn't build it?

I can still look after it.

If someone else built your site, I’ll need to see it first. Some sites move onto a plan as they are. Some need a bit of tidying before I’m willing to put my name on keeping them running, and I’ll quote that honestly. The free site check is the easiest way to find out which yours is.

Not sure which one?

Tell me what the site does for the business and I’ll tell you which plan fits. Most sites are a Care Plus. I’ll say so if yours is a Care.
